There’s something about May in our community that just feels special. It’s a season filled with celebrations, milestones, and those moments that remind us why we love living here. From prom nights to graduations, you can feel the excitement in the air — a true reflection of the families and traditions that make North of the River so unique.
To all the moms in our community — Happy Mother’s Day. Whether you’re raising little ones or celebrating big life moments like graduations, this month is a reminder of just how important you are. Motherhood is the most meaningful job there is, and it shows in the strength of our families and our community.
This May is also a very special one for me personally. My daughter, Madison Wells, is returning to Leslie Wells Realty as our Director of Training and Recruiting. She has built an incredible career on her own, and now she’s bringing that experience back home to help grow our team and support our agents. And just to put it out there — I’m not retiring! We are in a season of growth and rebuilding. Madison will focus on training, recruiting, and team development while continuing her own business and raising her two beautiful children. I couldn’t be prouder to have her by my side.
We also had a fantastic turnout at the First Annual Chalk Fest at Sutton Park in Palmetto. It was a perfect example of what makes our community so special — families, artists, and neighbors coming together to create something fun, colorful, and memorable. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported the event.
As we approach Memorial Day, let’s take a moment to remember and honor those who have served and sacrificed for our country. Their courage and commitment allow us to enjoy the freedoms and the lifestyle we’re so fortunate to have.
