From neighborhood cookouts to waving flags and sparklers in the driveway, it’s the kind of month that brings families and communities together. One of our favorite traditions? Watching fireworks by boat on the Manatee River. Whether you’re out on the water or along the shoreline, the reflection of those bursts of red, white, and blue is a Florida Fourth you’ll never forget.
But let’s face it—once the grill cools and the sun heats up, you may be looking for ways to stay busy
indoors. With school out and summer in full swing, July is the perfect time to tackle a few home projects together as a family.
Here are a few fun, feel-good ways to reset your home this month:
Toy Clean-Out and Donation Day
Pick a rainy afternoon and let the kids choose toys, games, or books they’ve outgrown to donate.
It’s a great way to teach gratitude and make room for new memories.
Closet Challenge
Turn organizing into a game. Who can fill a donation bag the fastest or find the most unmatched
socks?
Declutter and Deep Clean
