On a trip to Florida more than 12 years ago, my husband and I discovered Manatee County while heading out for a simple beach day—and that day changed our lives. We fell in love with the sunshine, the Riverwalk, deep-sea fishing, and the genuine Southern hospitality that makes this area so special.
On our return trip home to Northern Virginia, we knew Florida was where we oughta be. So, we packed up our truck and moved to Manatee County—sandy beaches, suntan oil, and all.
Drawn by its rural charm, natural beauty, and welcoming community, we made Parrish home. Our children thrived here, excelling in a Blue-Ribbon school and enjoying countless opportunities in sports and the arts.
Today, Manatee County continues to grow, offering outstanding amenities, restaurants, entertainment, new businesses, and state-of-the-art medical care—while still holding on to the small-town warmth and character that first captured our hearts.
As a commercial real estate professional, I have the privilege of working alongside local business owners, entrepreneurs, and investors who are shaping Manatee County’s future—often with the same love for this community that brought my family here years ago. Helping businesses put down roots while preserving what makes this area special is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
