If you’ve ever tried to spring clean without a little motivation in your glass… bless your heart. Spring cleaning *sounds* wholesome and productive until you’re knee-deep in mystery cords, a junk drawer that somehow holds everything, and dust bunnies that look like they’ve been training for the Olympics.
And then there are ceiling fans. You know the ones. The dust up there quietly piling up month after month while everyone in the house politely pretends not to see it. Until spring cleaning day arrives and suddenly that fan looks less like a household appliance and more like it’s growing a fuzzy sweater.
That’s where this month’s **Let’s Wine About It** comes in. Because sometimes the best cleaning strategy is simple: one trash bag, one donation pile, and one very supportive glass of wine cheering you on.
With Easter hopping around the corner, we’re adding a festive twist to the cleaning routine with a brunch drink I like to call the **Bunny Hop Mimosa**.
• 3 oz chilled carrot juice
• 3 oz chilled orange juice
• 4 oz sparkling wine or Prosecco
• Orange slice or carrot ribbon for garnish
Fill a champagne flute halfway with carrot and orange juice. Top with sparkling wine and add a splash of ginger beer if you’re feeling fancy. Garnish and sip proudly while pretending you totally planned to clean the garage today.
It’s bright, a little sweet, and festive enough that you won’t feel guilty reaching into your kid’s Easter basket for “just one more” chocolate egg. Which brings me to an important Easter truth: if chocolate is in the house, Moms everywhere are required to do a little quality control. There’s something magical about sipping a mimosa while reorganizing the pantry and sampling mini chocolate bunnies like the responsible adult you are.
For the rest of your spring-cleaning adventures, keep the wine light and cheerful. Prosecco is perfect for morning motivation, Sauvignon Blanc pairs nicely with tackling the kitchen, and a chilled Rosé is ideal for folding laundry while pretending you enjoy matching socks.
At the end of the day, step back, admire the sparkling house, and raise a glass. Spring is about fresh starts, sunshine, and small victories… especially the ones that come with bubbles.
Until next month—let’s wine about it.
